Dean

Dean began broadcasting in 1999, hosting a talk & music show from home. Heard around the world, the show grew very popular.

In August 2002, Dean found a home on internet station CMP Radio as a presenter. He then joined the news team and eventually the production team. At the end of 2004, CMP Radio sadly closed and February 2005 saw the birth of WeekendLive. Dean was back in the driving seat of an exciting new talkshow!

In August '05, Dean returned to music radio, presenting on Tamworth's 106.9 TCR fm. The RSL ran for one month. In 2007, Dean joined the management team and presented shows on TCR's second RSL with Sheena. It was a success and TCR fm has now been awarded a full-time licence.

Dean enjoys travelling, where possible, whether it's business or pleasure. Dean also likes eating out, with Italian and Chinese foods leading the way - just keep the spicy stuff to one side!

Sheena

Sheena's first radio experience was here on Weekend Live, co-hosting with Dean (and trying to keep him under control!). Poor Sheena was most definitely thrown in at the deep end - being made to read the news!

Music is one of Sheena's main passions in life. She is an accomplished singer and 'ok' pianist and graduated from The University of Edinburgh with a music degree. She is now working in training but still sings for fun and occasionally in front of an audience.

In her spare time, Sheena enjoys going to concerts and musicals. She also enjoys films, travelling and relaxing and spending time with her family and friends.

Jay

Jay is new to the Weekend Live team and makes occasional appearences, prividing a different angle or deeper coverage on various stories covered on the show.

He first got the radio bug back in 2001 when he set up his own radio station with his friends, but Jay's big radio break came in 2002 when he joined the presenting team on CMP Radio which he stayed with until it's closure in December 2004.

Jay holds qualifications in Media and Film and runs his own multimedia business.

Dan

Dan was our highly regarded and well liked website reviewer. Each week, he brought our listeners a selection of exciting or interesting sites from around the world. Dan always tries to find sites that are different or particularly useful.

Dan has a wealth of management, presenting and newsreading experience. In 2002 he joined CMP Radio, where he became Head of News, superbly managing a news team spread across the UK. He has also been involved in FM RSL projects.

He has now left us to focus on other projects and we wish him all the best!
